I’m a girl who believes in having besties. When it comes to friendships, I have many, but only a select few get into my inner sanctum. Not all of them stay, but they are all part of my army with the singular goal of lifting each other up. I don’t have time for negative Nellies or the bandwidth to deal with drama. It saps my creativity and adds to my stress level. Only besties who share my passion for uplifting each other get in and stay.
Recently my besties and I went on a girls trip to the Blue Ridge mountains of northern Georgia and let me tell you, it was an adventure!
We started with a stop in Elijay, Georgia at Expedition:Bigfoot where we had an appointment to meet Amanda the Bigfoot Lady, and promptly welcomed her into our tribe! The museum is amazing and we had a great time checking out the displays. We made plans to meet Amanda and her Mom at one of the haunted cemeteries the following day then headed on to Blue Ridge to our wonderful Air B&B. We did some hiking and some writing as well as visiting a few other cemeteries!
All in all it was a glorious time to recharge, reconnect and refresh with my besties!
